In Heirs To Olympus, you are Achilles, Theseus, Hercules, or Macaria - the mortal child of a Greek God. With a small band of allies, you must defend your divine parent's sacred relic while working to destroy those of your rivals. Every clash is charged with potential: Gods bless or curse the battlefield, Heroes unleash unique powers, and a single card or well-timed action can turn the momentum. The game is strategic, steeped in Greek mythology, and brought to life with detailed miniatures and a dynamic battlefield where legends are made.

Gameplay: Heirs To Olympus is a fast-paced tactical strategy game that blends asymmetric powers with streamlined mechanics.

  • 3-Tiered Command: Lead a Hero, their Companion, and four Acolytes, each with unique abilities and action cards.

  • Phoenix Rising System: Movement, respawns, dice battles, and action cards drive tense, decisive turns.

  • Thematic Objectives: Protect your relic and strike opponents' through clever positioning and timely powers.

  • Asymmetric Strategies: Heroes' divine lineages shape play styles - Macaria commands Cerberus and the Furies in relentless attacks, while Theseus rallies Mariners for steadfast defense.

  • Playing the Game: The game comes with a designated 2-player board for two players or two teams of two players, and a separate 3-player board for three players. Playing time is 60 - 90 minutes. The game is suitable for ages 14 and up.

The Teams

Children of the Gods. Each Hero bears the mark of divine lineage - strength, cunning, or fury born from their immortal parent. Yet their fates are their own to forge. Every Hero and Companion is brought to life as a highly detailed custom miniature, sculpted to capture their mythic presence on the battlefield. Choose your Hero wisely - each commands a different rhythm of battle and a unique path to victory.

  • Achilles surges across the field in flashes of unstoppable speed.
  • Macaria, daughter of Hades, commands Cerberus and the Furies to exact unrelenting vengeance.

  • Theseus steadies his allies with Poseidon's might and unshakable resolve.

  • Hercules channels thunderous strength, turning the tide through sheer will.

The Playing Boards (pre-production art)

The game comes with one 23" x 30", dual-sided, mounted playing board. One side is designed for two players (or two teams of two players), and the reverse side is designed for three players.

Player Mats

Featuring original art by Jarek Nocon, each player mat in Heirs To Olympus is more than a visual masterpiece - it's the heart of play. Every mat unites God, Hero, and Companion in a single tableau that tells their story while clearly presenting their abilities, Relic Power, and command tiers. Jarek's art doesn't just decorate the battlefield - it shapes it. Lightning crackles through Zeus's fury, fire dances at Iolaus's torch, and Hercules stands resolute at the center of divine might. These mats draw players deep into the myth, transforming every turn into a living moment of legend.

Action Cards

Action Cards are the heartbeat of Heirs To Olympus - each deck reflecting the temperament and tactics of its divine lineage. Every Hero commands a unique set of cards that mirrors their godly parent's influence and their own style of combat. The Team Hercules deck, for example, channels Zeus's raw power through lightning-charged attacks, heroic resilience, and bursts of unstoppable momentum. Other teams embody different strengths - from Macaria's ruthless underworld assaults to Theseus's disciplined coordination at sea.

The Battles
Streamlined, Tactical Battles

Battles in Heirs to Olympus use a fast, elegant dice system. Each adversary begins with three 6-sided dice, ensuring battles are often close and hard-fought. Divine Favor, Hero abilities, and battlefield advantages can add up to four 4-sided dice to tip the scales. The higher total prevails - defeated pieces move to the Respawn Track, and the balance of power shifts.

The Weather Cards
When Zeus stirs, chaos follows... Each round, Zeus himself stirs the skies, proclaiming a new weather condition that shapes the fate of all below. One turn may bring clear and calm - the next, howling winds or shrouding mist. At his behest, movement falters, sight fails, and even the mightiest warriors must bend to his thunderous will. The Weather Deck ensures that players must adapt to the conditions at hand - and when the skies grow dark, they will hide the blood that spills.

The Player Aids

Focus on Strategy and Immersion

In Heirs To Olympus, the rules are clear, swift, and intuitive - keeping players engaged with tactics and theme, not tangled in minutiae. Each player wields a double-sided Players' Aid, a tarot-sized guide that keeps every essential rule and reminder close at hand. No pauses, no confusion - just seamless play and unbroken focus on the clash of heroes and gods.

More Legends Will Join the Fray Soon

The battle for Olympus does not end with the founding four. Two additional legendary factions prepare to enter the conflict - bringing new tactics, rivalries, and mythic forces to the battlefield and introduce fresh strategic matchups for players who want even greater variety. This two team expansion set is in development and will be sold separately.
